I was born in Morton Grove, Illinois, to Romanian immigrant parents who instilled in me the values of discipline, resilience, and the transformative power of education. From an early age, I found myself captivated by two seemingly divergent worlds—science and art—never imagining these passions would one day converge into my life’s calling.
My artistic journey began in high school, where I discovered painting, eventually minoring in fine art during my undergraduate studies. Yet it was science that would provide the foundation for my career.
From Pharmaceutical Excellence to Aesthetic Mastery
After completing my undergraduate education, I launched my professional career as a pharmaceutical sales representative specializing in dermatology. My natural ability to forge genuine connections, combined with deep scientific knowledge, quickly distinguished me in the field. It was during this pivotal period that I was first introduced to the emerging world of aesthetic medicine—a revelation that ignited a passion destined to shape my future.
Determined to deepen my clinical expertise, I pursued graduate studies in nursing at Rush University, graduating at the top of my class, all while navigating the demands of marriage and early motherhood. In 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I took my education even further by enrolling in an advanced nurse practitioner program, demonstrating my unwavering commitment to clinical excellence even during unprecedented times.
A Philosophy Born from Personal Experience
As my family grew to three children, I intimately understood the challenge of prioritizing self-care amidst life's relentless demands. I vividly recall the exhausting days of raising young children—when even basic personal care like a haircut, a massage, or considering aesthetic treatments felt impossibly out of reach.
This lived experience became the cornerstone of my philosophy and the driving inspiration behind Vix Aesthetix—a practice designed to meet you where you are, whether that's in my private Highland Park studio or in the comfort of your own home.
Clinical Evolution & Unwavering Standards
I began my aesthetic career in 2016 as a nurse injector within a high-volume, multi-location dermatology practice, where I developed exceptional technical proficiency. Following the birth of my third child and during the pandemic, I temporarily stepped away from aesthetics—but my passion never dimmed. When I returned in 2023, I encountered an industry transformed by social media influence and an influx of undertrained providers. Rather than becoming discouraged, I became more intentional. I made an uncompromising commitment to mastering my craft at the highest level.
I invested extensively in elite-level advanced training, dedicating myself to continuous education with an unwavering focus on safety, precision, and naturally refined results. For me, aesthetic medicine is not a trend-driven industry—it is a medical discipline deserving of respect, responsibility, and expertise.
